Royal Wedding Music

I realize some people, especially women, are most interested in Catherine Middleton's wedding gown.  I am more interested in the music.

William and Catherine will no doubt have help in selecting their music, which will be largely classical and traditional.  On Monday night,  they and the Prince of Wales made a private visit to Westminster Abbey to hear a full orchestra and a choir play posisble music for the wedding.

Lady Diana Spencer and her father, Lord Spencer, walked down the aisle to Jeremiah Clarke's  Trumpet Voluntary.

She did not come down the aisle to "I vow to thee my Country," a British patriotic anthem, based on a poem by British diplomat, Cecil Spring-Rice.  The music was adapted by Gustav Holst from a piece of Jupiter from The Planets.

Here is a list of the music from the wedding of the Prince and Princess of Wales.
